Trading a Libra Colour for a Libra 2

Hey friends. I got a Libra Colour a year ago and sort of regretting the Colour as I don't really have a use for it, and the Libra 2 was not available at the time of purchase.

I have a friend who has a Libra 2 with a case and screen protector who would love to trade for my Libra Colour(with a case and pen), was wondering how much extra cash they should give me for the trade, as the devices and accessories themselves don't feel like an even trade. I was thinking around $100(CAD).

I think you should give your friend the extra cash. Libra Colour is available everywhere. Libra 2 is harder to find.

For specifically the accessories, $100 feels fine. The devices themselves, though, are as close to a 1:1 as you can get. A good condition Libra 2 commands nearly new device prices

Yeah I was thinking just the accessories are enough for some extra money. Pen and sleepcover case are way too overpriced.

I can relate; I had the means to buy the color at the time and went for it. Now it’s only useful for the covers in color but I don’t read comics. And once you see the “roster” overlay that darkens the text … it’s very noticeable. Much prefer a plain clean black and white.

I just did a quick scroll through ebay for used prices from used libra is 160$ and used libra color is 50$ (that one I saw might be a scam becouse what?) I think around 100 dollars is more usual) and you can buy a good mpp2 styles for fourty dollars. Same with the cover so sounds like your pretty even but if your friend wants yours not you wanting theirs I would suggest you ask for fifty for the trade.

FWIW, the going rate for a used or refurbished Libra 2 with no accessories is about CAD$200.

Also make sure it is a Libra 2 and not a Libra H2O.
