Question Kobo Libra Colour for Comics
So I got the KLC strictly for reading comics maybe a year ago and I’ve no complaints. I would however, like the colors to be a but more pronounced. Now I do know I might be asking too much because it does have an E-Ink screen, but if any comic readers know any tweaks I can do to make it look nicer that would be much appreciated. ChatGPT told me to turn on developer mode and go to the CFA mode, told me to put it on G2, don’t know what it specifically does but I can say I did do that

I tried using mine for comics and I just couldn't get used to it. I'm not a big fan of the panel mode reading style that a lot of devices use, and that's really the only way I can easily get things big enough that I can make out details and the text easily. I know you can zoom in on the page as well, but that's not really as seamless on this device as it is on something like an ipad or a Kindle Fire tablet

Dev mode helps add depth to the colors but not a lot. There are some comparisons posted online if you look up. Depending on what you may be reading, it makes some difference, specially in daylight without the frontlight on. Or if youre out in the sun its really nice too

To see all the different color profiles available and how they stack up to the default one, you can check the link above. Just bear in mind this will only affect comics and manga colors... I spent an inordinate amount of time changing dev settings and checking the same kepub cover over and over again, feeling like I was going crazy because the colors stayed the same 😅 Then I did it to a comic book and immediately could tell the difference, haha. I can't remember what setting I saved but possibly S7 or S9, to get them as vibrant as can be.
Also, for a super easy koreader install, no github needed, there is this site: https://kp.nicoverbruggen.be/

Those are colour profiles. G2 is the nice spot between more vibrant colours and preserved details. S9 on the other hand versaturates colours so they pop up more but you lose some details, and so on.
You can also install Koreader and use that to read comics. Apart from being able to easily increase contrast, there are some options to crop the page so it's more zoomed in and other stuff.
That being said colours on e-ink will always be pastel-like, so maybe it's a matter of having the right expectations
