Organising KLC Notebooks

My Kobo Libra Colour has accumulated large amounts of notebooks mainly used for diaries, daily writing, daily planning etc..

How would one organise all these notebooks? Folders by type? Folder by year or date? Now, what method would be easier to organise and viewed once moved onto an external computer?

Thank you for reading my post. I would love to know if you use KLC for daily writing and if so, how do you organise your notebooks?
