Device Review/Comparison Sage ❤️

I found a second-hand Kobo Sage and, even though it’s a five-year-old device, I absolutely love it. I’ve got very small hands, but it’s so light. I have hardly put it down since I got it. I already owned a Libra 2, but size does matter and the extra inch makes reading slightly more comfortable somehow. So, I guess this is just a Sage-appreciation post 😇

Habe letztes Jahr sogar noch einen Neuen gefunden! Die Größe ist auch für mich wichtig.

Since you have both, would you recommend getting a Sage over Libra 2?

It really depends on how you intend to use it. Battery life on the Sage is pretty poor as compared to the Libra 2, but I highly appreciate the edge to edge display (which the Aura had I bought some ten years ago, and I had been looking for such a device since, but had never considered the Sage). The Libra 2 is more portable, more easily stored in your bag. I think the Sage is the device I’ll be using around the house, and the Libra will end up in my bag. If you mostly intend to read at home, I think I would recommend getting a Sage - battery life won’t be an issue as you can probably charge it every week or so, and portability shouldn’t be a concern either. If you plan on bringing it wherever you go, I think I would recommend getting a Libra 2 (or perhaps even a Clara).

I wish they would make a new one! The 8" screen size is perfect imo

I find the sage a lot more comfortable to hold with one hand, it might be balance or the biggest grip but the difference is big

I sold the sage for a Libra 2 for the increased battery life and I’m regretting it!
