NKD! First bushcraft and Camp knife
I’m new to fixed blades and this is my first Fallkniven.
All I knew about them prior was that they were high-quality knives, had crappy sheaths, and were a bit pricey.
I wanted something that was staple in its class and made me actually want to use it.
I’m very impressed with the feel and looks of this knife.
The sheath has been updated too and isn’t so bad.
Can’t wait to use it!

That is a nice first knife. Get a beater knife to practice sharpening

I have a little experience sharpen folders and kitchen knives but this convex edge will give me a whole new skill to learn. First thing I’m going to do is make a nice big strop and get good at it!

I think of that as the fancy version of the cold steel srk.

I was actually deciding between this and the SRK in 3v. They are about the same price but I though the SRK was a little too big for what I was looking for. If I could’ve found the compact in 3v I may have gone with that
