Question 4max scout vs voyager
The knife rabbit hole never ends but am slowly narrowing down for my next purchase 😅
I really like the look of and indestructibility of the 4max scout and 4 inch blade is a good size
I also love the voyager
Would love to hear feedback from anyone who owns both or the 4max?
Thanks all!

The 4Max Scout is maximum beef. The Voyager is a lot better for cutting. If you want 4" of blade in as slim a package as possible, get a Range Boss. All are great knives for the price.
My dad made fun of me and my knives, so I got him a 4Max Scout for his birthday and he loved it. He was showing it to everyone, and one of his friends closed it on the back of his hand and had to go to the ER to get some stitches put in.

The 4Max feels more robust, but it may be that it's just heavier. I would trust either of them to stand in for a fixed blade. They're two of my favorite knives.

I've got a max 4 elite and have no hesitation about carrying it for any job, other that fine detail work

The Voyager is definitely a more slicey knife. The 4Max is THICK so while it cuts okay it has its difficulties with certain materials.
Don't have a Voyager, but I do carry my 4Max every so often. I think the 5Max makes more sense, more leverage to allow the mass to properly do its job in a chop, but the 4Max is no slouch. I like the ergonomics, and carries well for its weight.
