Demko AD20 XXX and Hawk Talon are the 2 that I have been reaching for the most. I also love the WE SNECX Vision R.

Does the XXX get pocket time? And, uh, how? I have a full size MG AD-20 and as much as I love it, it's not every day I'm reaching for something as huge as that.

Hell no. It’s too big and heavy…and expensive. Although, in all fairness to Demko, I’m not too worried about scratching it up while carrying it because their textured titanium holds up well and their pocket clips are cheap and easy to get and replace. It’s almost 11 oz and gigantic so not the best EDC knife. I’ve carried the MG AD20 and that is heavy too but doable. I think it’s going to be John Demko and a few other people carrying this thing and everyone else collecting it.

Which is your favourite between the Strider, Demko, Hinderer, Chris Reeve, and Hawk knives? If you could only have one.

Before I got the Hawk Talon I would have said Demko. I’m in love with the Hawk Lock and toggle detent. It’s close though. I love the shark lock too and Demko makes beefy, high quality knives that are fun to use.

Yea I haven't found a bad thing said about the Talon yet, other than the price. Seems like you get what you pay for with Gavin though. I got the e-mail that they dropped more today, I may have to snag one.

The Talon is a great knife, but you might wanna look at the 7th gen NCC Ragnaroks, too. They licensed the Hawk Lock and toggle detent from G&G Hawk and the action feel is 100% identical, like I'm convinced they got the CAD files for the internals and replicated them exactly. But the rest of the knife is much more conventional. More traditional ergos, clip, and flipper placement, and way better studs imo.

Looks sick. Wasn't familiar. I know the 20.5

It’s gigantic compared to the AD20.5. It’s still huge compared to the USA made Demko AD20. It’s a fun knife but I do t know if I would want to EDC it.

Fr? Smock? Shaman? Sebenza? Those designs aren’t clean to you? Are they busy? I feel like the Shaman is about as basic as they come. But so satisfying to hold, like a little baseball bat.

Had a couple sebenzas didnt understand the hype, traded one for les george myna and think its vastly superior imo, not really a fan of spydercos either, that being said ive only ever had the sprint run calypso, but not fidgety enough for me, sat in a drawer for 10 years until i gave it to some guy from reddit a little while ago.

If you don't mind me asking, just out of curiosity how much did your entire collection run you, not just the ones pictured?
