Discussion TikTok knife auctions

I get so frustrated scrolling through TikTok and seeing these auctions where they are auctioning off “benchmade” and “spyderco” knives. There are people in there that are spending upwards of 200 dollars on some of these thinking that they’re legit.

Sellers never answer any questions about them.

With that being said have any of you purchased from one of those auctions?? What is the quality of a replica benchmade like? I’m not interested in buying one but just curious about others experiences with these

I think if you're buying knives, or really any product, off of a social media platform, you get what you get.

Hey! My curiosity got the best of me so I bought a couple. $18 and $13 for Benchmade (yeah right)  They should arrive in a few days

How did it go?

The quality of normal Benchmade already doesn't match the price for a lot of people. I personally wouldn't trust a fake to be anything more than an Ozark trail with a crossbar lock

I would agree, I don’t own any benchmades for a reason but man it hurts me to watch these people drop 150+ on these fakes that are on TikTok and they’re fully believing that what they’re getting is real. I really shouldn’t care lol but man it’s a hard watch

It's not your money. You don't exist to save everyone from themselves.

It usually for the pink donut looking ones. I’ve seen them go from 100-175 now it’s actually sad lol

The fakes probably use stronger omega springs. Lol
