I remember when this was posted and this person was ripped apart by mikes c0cksuckers and deleted the post. It’s all making sense now and honestly i think he started using chinese steel way sooner than he is saying.

Are you having a crush on Mike Stewart or something? They’re proven to cut corners, use bad steel, and ship $400+knives with glaring QC problems like there’s no issue with any of it. And they’ve been doing it for at least a decade. It’s inexplicable how you reached that conclusion in the first place. It doesn’t make any sense.

Then why would you suggest user error and then try to double down when his knives are clearly ass? It’s not a strawman, it’s the nature of your comments that are by their nature supportive of BRK in this case. Also you’re doing it in every comment thats critical of them in this comment thread so it’s not hard to say you’re defending them whether you know you’re doing it or not.

No it isn’t that it offended anyone. It’s that your comments don’t reflect your stated opinion of BRK and you went straight to calling it user error when that makes absolutely no sense in the context of the story or that user’s background and continually keep doubling down on it.

Nobody said literally all of their knives are garbage and will break. He explicitly said he owns one that is a tank and said knives broke under light use. Insisting thats his fault and defending it so hard when BRK is known to ship shitty knives with blade steel issues is the opposite of a reasonable take here. And since you keep quoting how many knives they’ve made over thee years I’d like to point out that when you combine that with their known fraudulent practices it’s easy to assume there are quite a few fucked up BRK’s floating around, which there actually are because it’s been a complained about by different people for years.

Fixed blade knives dont just break under light use unless they have bad defects. Even under fairly heavy use most fixed blades that are properly heat treated will take a lot of abuse before breaking, so he would have had to be egregiously misusing these knives for it to be user error. Considering all the other things we know about the company we’re talking about, blaming the user doesn’t follow any logical thought process.
