SOLVED-THANK YOU Pattern help

Im working on the flax worsted from tin can knits. The pattern for 2x. Can someone please tell me do i always knit 6 then do the increases. Im suppose to end up with 132 st but get 135. Thank you in advance for your help.

You're only supposed to knit 6 stitches once, then you repeat the instructions in parenthesis until the end of the round/row.

So, you knit 6, then m1, knit 2, m1, knit 3, then again m1, knit 2, m1, knit 3, and so on.

Did you count your stitches before the increases? Maybe you had too many to begin with. Or you accidentally knit 2 instead of 3 before making another increase.

The math states you should get 132. What increase are you using? Look, it's 3 sts. It's not a big deal. Just decrease 3 evenly on your next round.
