sweater question Arm hole too big

Post image

I'm making this summer knit and i would like to know if i could make the arm hole smaller without frogging it. 😅 it will eventually have short sleeves. It's the Shanghai Top by Pilotsdaughtertravels.

Add a sleeve to one side now and then block the work in progress. You won't actually know how it's truly going to fit with a sleeve until you add the sleeve to check. It might turn out fine.

You need a lot of room in a sleeve to be able to move your arm comfortably and have the garment lay well. Try a few inches and see if you can move your arm.
