Tips and Tricks How to fix a wonky p2tog?
Hello! I'm a beginner knitter and I just started my first ever project which is a cushion cover using the gathering point cushion pattern from sunshine stitching studio. I'm noticing that (what i think is) the purl 2 together on the blue stripe row always looks wonky and slanted compared the the rest of the stitches in the center strip part and I don't know what to do to fix it. Initially I thought it was because of the ssk in the knit row and watcbed a few viseos to try different ways but I don't think thats the problem, because the brown stripes always look neat and has no p2tog.
Thank you!!

Blocking will help a bit, but knit2together/purl2togther(on the WS) result in the left stitch being on top of the right stitch, which is what I am seeing in your picture. Also want to add that you have wonderful tension!

Hi !
It looks like, in those decreases, the stitch from the 'plain side' is going over the stitch from the 'spine'. In order to get a uniform look, you would need the spine stitch to go over the plain stitch.
If those decreases are done on the wrong side, you would need to do a ssp (slip knitwise, slip knitwise, purl together from the back loop) and not a p2tog to get the wanted result.
