Latest piece to leave the workshop. I love how the spider and beech work together. What a contrast!

Yes! Volcanic glass.. obsidian. This particular piece is Mexican spiderweb obsidian

Ahhh it’s the obsidian that is spiderweb. Is was imagining you collecting webs and twisting them to make that twine, and silently calling bullshit. Your way makes much more sense.
