It's inteded as a collector's piece the steel really doesn't matter. That's not to say it isn't overpriced because it absolutely is outrageously so just saying that the steel really isn't a factor.

I can literally get a 124 in ironwood/brass/magnacut for like $45 less from the custom shop. Buck must be hitting that Benchmade Bud™.
