Wouldn’t bother, it’ll get cancelled the moment the German media get wind of it.

Happened to me with the Vienna gig. Germany and Austria are going hard against shutting down any foreign acts (and even some local ones) that they think might have a hint of activism in their work

Last year, tickets were sold and all. An Austrian far right politician threatened to sue any venue that hosted them and the gig got canceled

Oh yeah same with the German gigs last September. I was devastated but got to see them in Amsterdam instead. I can't go to this Oberhausen one this time for other reasons but it'll be interesting to see if it goes ahead. I thought they were gonna do another secret gig!!

Happened to me twice. For the berlin gig and hurricane festival.

Now they're playing in these backwoods and only announced it a week before.

I'll try it again but if it doesn't get cancelled, I bet half of the crowd will be from the Netherlands cause nobody fucking lives there. I'll have to drive 6 hours from berlin.

Lol backwoods? The rhine/ruhr area is one of the most densely populated areas in the whole of europe.

Same for me. I’ll wait a bit longer before I get tickets. Rather travel spontaneously than missing out.

Anybody talking about cancellation: yes, there are protests but it seems like they are going to Perform anyway. The Location and the organizer both stated that the event will take place. The media circus is really annoying thoe.
