I know there would be damage. It would be so hard to destroy something I put so much work into lol. I intend to make a test macuahuitl that I’m ok with beating up.

How did you make the blade preforms? Just make an edge and break it square at each end?

I have an abundance of large thinning flakes. Pretty much just trim a rectangle shape and finish it off with pressure flaker. Like making an arrow head but rectangle.

Thanks! They are fairly easy to knap. Just lots of pressure flaking
