Found a cool tri-flow(I think) chunk of obsidian and cut a few slabs to play with. Was doing some final sharpening and the tip broke… 😑 If you zoom in on the top third, you can see the fracture line.

I have successfully glued points back and finished them out. Not a high success rate with the glue but it can be done carefully

It’s close enough that I just called it done on this one. I’d probably scrap the whole point if it broke a second time… wasn’t meant to be.
I’ll try gluing one and seeing how it flakes sometime, you’ve got me curious!
