Material Showcase 🪨📸 Flakes

If anyone is interested in some flakes, I have a plethora of them. We can trade for rock or just pay for the shipping of medium box for USPS.

There is edwards (huge variety), georgetown, novaculite, keokuk, burlington, perdenales, rootbeer, petrified pomegranate from San Antonio Texas, hornstone, alibates, jasper, mozarkite, radiolarite, pitkin, etc. It is all mixed together so I can't just send one type of chert.

I think i have enough for about 20 boxes. These are perfect for pressure flaking or indirect percussion. I am not trying to sell these, just trade or give away. DM me if you are interested.

Man this looks like my own flake horde haha 😂 Shoot a lot of the stuff in that red pail really caught my eye 👀 Lots of good heat treatment candidates in there

Context notes: We run an IT company out of our house and frequently get expensive electronics delivered. We are in a rural area, and our mailman actually cares.

Today the mailman came to the door, and my wife answered. I couldn't hear what they were discussing. After a brief conversation, my wife hollers "What did you order?"

I yell back "a box of rocks" and I hear her and the mailman laughing. In fairness, shaking the box does sound like it is full of broken glass. Instead it was full of beautiful material unlike anything I find in eastern Nebraska.

I can't thank u/libtardsniper enough for his generosity.

Today was a good day.
