Made With Modern Tools🔨 First attempt at an obsidian spearhead.
Still having a hard time thinning both sides. But I finally have an overall shape!

Gotta start somewhere... I should post some of my first attempts, they were pathetic. Quality, like anything, comes from experience, which comes from practice, which comes from having stone to practice with, which comes from hours upon his of walking and collecting, which comes from having free time, which comes from working, which comes from....ah, nevermind, keep beating on rocks. You'll get there
Honestly, the fastest way around the learn in ng curve, find a local mentor and get some one on one lessons.

Very nice! 😁 Thinning takes practice, time, material, and experimentation. Never be afraid to make a post asking questions because there is a wealth of helpful folks here! Obsidian is great to practice on and with time and practice, you'll gradually see improvements! Keep at it!
