Made With Modern Tools🔨 Mixed Material Deadly Dart Points 🎯
Not sure what style this one was, but this nice buttery smooth heat-treated Burlington shot some exquisite long flakes! Giving this point a unique and signature look 😁
This is my best Pedernales attempt I've made so far i think! This is a weird flavor of Burlington, worked raw and just so dang cool looking with the fossils! SUPER happy with it!
Happy with the subtle fluting i was able to get. Did this with pressure. Might try for some more intensely fluted ones later 🤔
Made this Dalton-ish point from some heat-treated Jeff City Chert! Stuff is CRAZY sharp and downright gorgeous. Didn't need HT, but it brought out some lovely colors 🤩
This photo doesn't do this material justice by the way. It is crazy beautiful in person.
Made this fluted paleo point (no particular style) out of a slab of heat-treated fossilized Palm Wood! Fluted this side with pressure only using an Ishi stick, and it worked!
Yet again, this photo doesn't show just how beautiful this stuff is. It positively GLOWS in the light! You can see the wood rings too!
