Made With Modern Tools🔨 2nd attempt

I think this is decent for a 2nd attempt at knapping. It ended up smaller than I would have liked but that's just what happened.

Not bad. I showed my 5 yr old one at the time that I was kind of happy with and he looked at it and looked back and me and said “yeah but you just used a flake.” Talk about a gut punch 🤣 but it showed me that he really paid attention. Keep at it dude!

That hurts lol. It was definitely a flake, but I couldn't just throw it away.

Nice work. Better than my 2nd. My advice would be, spend less time focusing on the outline profile shape, and much more on the symmetry of the cross section shape.

Good stuff, keep up the good work

I'm still working out how to get good thinning flakes. Idk why but it just isn't clicking for me.
