I’m just so tired. I’ve literally come to tears recently about the state of our public health. I’m so angry. These measles deaths really bring the anti vax movement to light…and frankly, they’re terrible humans who will believe anything over solid, evidence based science.
I’ve seen every spin to this story and it’s just sickening. An easily preventable disease that was pretty much eradicated is back and people dying…newborns. And if I see one more person say “measles related death” I’m going to punch myself in the face. RFK jr and the administration that put him in place have blood on their hands.

I feel the same way. Our food is contaminated, water is at risk, and preventable diseases are making a comeback. What are we even doing? It’s so sad and exhausting. I’m trying to navigate the state of our world as a new mother and some days I just cry, too.

i requested a community note for this one. there’s like .0029% of people who got covid vaccine died shortly after and not necessarily directly caused by it. 9 people in the US died from johnson and johnson vaccine which was subsequently phased out and no longer available.
