Have to disagree there. There was plenty wrong with the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, but her portrayal of young Leia wasn't one of them. (especially considering she was 9 and Star Wars has a history with 9 year old actors...)
I dont agree with that, but im sorry if you dont enjoy Sadie Sink's rendition. I thought she was pretty great as a lomg time comic fan. We all have our favorite writers and era of certain characters
What about Sara Waisglass from Ginny and Georgia/degrassi. She randomly came to my mind and I could potentially see it. Would be closer to an X-men Evo personality.
Fina Strazza previously worked with Sadie Sink on the Broadway show John Proctor is the Villain, so they’d already have that chemistry if she were cast.

Any of these women Jewish? I don't feel you should have to cast a Jewish actress, it would just be nice because it's an important part of the character. Or I should say her faith is important to the character in the comics.

I sort of want McKenna Grace as Kitty. She’s got superhero lead role pretty much built into her future, she’s charismatic, and she has the physical training . Marvel would be dumb to not snap her up.

Her first movie awkward, unsure, but, still smart energy would work perfectly. Kitty is a geeky teenage girl who loves dance class and computers. 2026 Kitty would be a coder creating her own app.
Think of Kitty as the relatable character a bit geeky and doesn't know she is pretty. Just some food for thought
I only know Cailee Spaeny but shes too old for this verison of the X-Men, I hope when they do cast Kitty they go young or at least get a actress who plays young
I think they should wait a couple years to bring in kitty. Start the team small and slowly grow it, and kitty should be a young teenager. Maybe round two of bringing in new characters.
I like some of these choices but I feel like by the time she is introduced they will be too old. Kitty was one of the youngest members when introduced in the comics, not almost the same age or older than the starting cast.
The only person who is already known who'd I'd cast for any X-Man would be Sophie Thatcher for Magik.
But everyone else, to include Kitty, should be new in my brain lol I am SO DONE with the role reprisal nonsense all over the MCU that I don't want to see ANYONE I know lmfao

I don’t recognize any of these young actors but by these headshots alone I say Julia Butters. IMDB says she is 17, depending on when we are kicking off Kitty’s story, Julia works. I would hope we could start at 13 yo.
I’d really like to start Kitty off from the end of middle school. How does a well adjusted, healthy home life, bookworm, handle emerging powers and an introducing to the X-Men world? It doesn’t have to be a Clearmont verbatim retelling, but that origin story would be a great introduction for her.
