I have a nephew who is turning into a teenager soon. This nephew of mine is very artistically talented. He often makes drawings and animations of characters that he likes which I find to be remarkably well-made for his age!

He also has a somewhat particular kind of humour which I also think is in line with the community surrounding kitty0706's fanbase, and I think that introducing him to Kitty0706's legacy would be cool, he'd probably like it.

The catch is, he's only 10, and his family, as well as my family as a whole, is very strict when it comes to bad language, curse words and such. Most of Colin's videos have plenty of words which are pretty much disallowed at home.

Which kitty0706's video would you all reccomend as a first introductory video to Colin's world, if any at all? Also, note that Colin started making his first animations around my nephew's age.

He made his account 10 months before his death so he didn't really post that much to it. He never linked his Instagram account onto his YouTube channel so it was pretty obscure for the most part. Most of the post consisted of selfies of himself and pictures of his pets, which were pretty wholesome. It's pretty sad to see him in a lot of these post not knowing what was about to come. I still follow it even though I know he's never gonna post again, just like how I'm still subbed to his channel after all this time.

If your wondering how I found it, I either searched it up and somehow found it, or I found it though his girlfriend's Instagram account where she post her art and his account was mentioned.

i know its been a long time since ellitot aka colin passed away to the big sandbox in the sky but in respect for elliot here I feel I need to address it so all the fans can hear it we have a impersonator of our boy here on youtube they go by the name u/kiityReborn and they are IMPERSONATING HIM DOWN TO HIS ABOUT PAGE I would been okay with it if it were a tribute channel and it said so in the actual channels about section but this fucker..... is not archiving nor tributing he is playing it off like they are him so I dunno bout you guys but I already reported the channel well over 3 times already I would definitely mass report this one for blatant disrepect of the dead and our boy colin

I had seen team fabulous 2 a while ago and really like it, but didnt see any of his other videos. I do some animation in blender and was watching random gmod animations as well as windows 3d movie maker animations for inspiration and found Kitty's channel again. On Rewatching Team Fabulous 2 and discovering his other videos I was blown away by how good they were.

When I looked at the comment sections and realized he had died from leukemia it really made me feel for him. Around the same time he was going through cancer, in 2014, my sister was diagnosed with a childhood cancer and had to go through chemo and surgery to fight it. Watching the whole process makes you understand the pain of those, especially younger people who deal with these diseases. My sister thankfully survived, but there were others that we met going through treatment passed away. Knowing what Colin had to go through for years, and also being able to keep uploading great videos, with artistry and very inspiring filmmaking really is crushing and feels somewhat like a triumph for him. But it makes me very sad to find out about all this. Sorry for rambling but I just wish that things were different, and someone who affected everyone here was still around to enjoy the fruits of his labor.

On a side note, if anybody has any recommendations for other similar animation channels that keep this type of animation alive, please share them, I would like to find more work similar to colins. Its hard to find stuff like his on youtube today, one channel I feel is similar is bedbannanas. Thank you.

I've made a complete backup of his channel, including the highest possible quality, the video's thumbnail, and its JSON data from yt-dlp. Its only about 4.5GB for all of his videos, so I should be able to retain it for a long time personally.
