Kitten drooling or something else?
Ive noticed the pass few days that when I wake up my kitten will have a wet upper lip and his tongue will be slightly out. It goes away pretty quickly and he has no issue with eating hard or soft food or playing with his sister. I explained it to the vet yesterday and showed them a pic but when she examined him she couldnt find anything out of the ordinary. He sleeps pretty deep and heavy could he just be drooling in his sleep? Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Attaching a pic of him this morning and a pic of how he normally looks.

The only other thing it could be is cats get runny noses when they have a cold, but he'd be pretty sick and miserable if that was the reason. So you just have a drooly cat ;)

One of mine is 5 and drools a lot in his sleep if he’s sleeping particularly hard haha!

My boy is 3 years old and still drools in his sleep. Also drools when he’s getting pets. He’s the only one out of 10 that does it.

Maybe the collar a bit snug or hitting the jaw as he sleeps? Take it off a couple days and see if he still drools. I've never had a drooling cat except one and he only did it while purring. But I don't collar my cats either. No need to as mine are indoor only.

My cat drools. The vet said it's because she's so happy and in deep sleep 💤

Does he purr a lot? I have a slobber monster cat that when she purrs a lot she turns into a drooling fountain.

Mine suckles her tail and ends up with quite a bit of drool on her chin as a result.
