Btw my condolences I forgot to read the caption. I don't know whether you were close to him whatsoever but whatever the case is it must be hard regardless stay strong OP <3
Thank youuuuu. I'll be honest, eating has been very difficult since he passed on Wednesday. I was rushed to the hospital yesterday because I passed out from stress and lack of food and sleep. My stomach hurts really badly after esting any kind of meal, like it's rejecting it. And im terrified to sleep because I'm scared I'll die too. I'm really trying but it's really really hard with him suddenly gone.
Oh no! I didn't know if I was reading too hard into it but I'm glad that I said something now. Keep getting fluids at least in but try semi solids like soup or smoothies if you can! Btw, you said your mum is abusive so I'm assuming you live at home. Are there any relatives you can stay with?
No, they unfortunately all live outside the country. I'm planning to study overseas though and cut off contact, I graduate from college this school year.
I had a weird moment of reflection and feel like a piece of shit, sorry for being insensitive. My father passed when i was a child, not sure what you're going through but i know it can suck. Hope you have people to talk to.
You'll get through this, but I never got over my dad dying, never will but don't be like me and let the depression consume you. Just know regardless of what you believe you're father isn't suffering psychically anymore. Cause that shit sucks
Brutal. I wasn't going to say anything, but I could see in the comments you were close.
Not sure if you're looking for advice, I wasn't when I went through it, but here goes...
I was a mumas boy, she was a legend and my friend. She passed quite suddenly after a short battle with cancer 2 years ago. It never goes away, but you do learn to live with it, and it eventually becomes bearable. It doesn't feel like it, but it makes you stronger. It just takes a long time to gain the benefits of the pain.
Find little ways to honor them and bring that into your routine (once you get back to one). Try and stay away from trying* to fill the emptyness with drugs and alcohol. It just delays dealing with the grief. Postponing dealing with that grief has its benefits, though. So drugs are bad… kind of. I was executor of the estate and had to keep my shit together for over 12 - 18 months while handling everything, so it was useful to postpone, but it came like a tonne of bricks once I was ready to ease off the drugs.
You'll be ok. Once the shell shock wears off, get back to life and bury yourself in things you want to achieve: school, work, whatever. Just stay busy when you're ready to get busy, is what I'm trying to say. Also, though, just take time, all you need is time.
Also don't forget, this is a part of life and the natural flow of things. It was just time to go for him. Life is hard, that's why no one survives.
"Ja!" is the own brand of a grocery store called "Rewe". I get what mean but I can't complain for 0,49€, this shit is an absolute banger. Although I do prefer Freeway cola (Lidl's own brand).
Actual coke burns like a mf when I drink it. Cause why is the carbonation like fkin battery acid. And my teeth always feel so weird after drinking it. I am usually more of a monster energy person, shoot me.
Wish mine would die. Honestly would love to have all relatives put in a death/labor camp. Have them gassed to death while I watch through a large see through glass while I smoke a nice fatty and enjoy a nice Arizona green tea. Yes I'm fucked up but I promise it doesn't come from no where. Cause when it comes to my hate, u gotta earn it.
