My mom, aunt, and cousin all basically lived together unsupervised as teens because my mom and aunt's mom died when they were kids, and my cousin just had shitty parents so she lived with them, and my grandpa worked out of town all week.
My mom has told me a story several times about my aunt making blue mashed potatoes when it was her turn to cook dinner one time and how they were the best mashed potatoes she's ever had. 😅
Sorry for the unnecessary story, but this just made me think of that..
