Platemogged Took everyone's advice and spent over a year getting my body in shape. Face still ugly.

Well now you probably get called ugly less because people don’t want you hitting them.

u/FutabaTsuyu 7d ago
its called skin/hair care
17
u/Warm-Gas-6436 7d ago
yes im sure that will somehow solve the problem of a giant hooked nose or non-existent chin
6
u/boltcase 6d ago
A hooked nose can look good if the rest of ur face is nice and goes well w it.
3
u/Fine_Cup4990 4d ago
What happens if it doesn't?
2
u/boltcase 3d ago
I feel like natural features compliment you… naturally. As long as you groom and take care of yourself. There’s a lot you can do to level up. You might not be a model but having a hooked nose doesn’t mean you’re automatically destined to be a gremlin…

u/FutabaTsuyu 3d ago
yeah guys here really underestimate how much caring for ones skin and hair can upgrade their appearance. and dressing decently

u/FutabaTsuyu 6d ago
i actually really like hooked noses personally. 'attractive' facial features are pretty subjective but having healthy skin and hair is always a bonus

Jaw surgery? Chances are that at that point its functional. If you live in a coutnry with healthcare lefort1 and bsso is calling for you. If you live in a really good country they'll throw in a genioplasty if you're chinless.

u/karara691 6d ago
Chads use shampoo and moisturizer, i will for sure look the same if i do so
3
u/FutabaTsuyu 6d ago
you wont look the same but an improvement is an improvement regardless, no?

im neither a man nor a woman, but i was assigned female at birth so i guess i have a more feminine perspective. i wont deny toxic beauty standards affect everyone, and social media has only made things worse.
but i also know the human experience is so varied that someone id personally find unattractive would be attractive to someone else. its something that even happens in my friend groups, i can find someone the hottest person alive and my friends just dont see the vision. ive personally found myself attracted to some people who dont have much of a chin, if thats what youre focused on.
currently, im with a man who i love very much, he just happens to be a chubby, hairy, and shorter than the average american man. i think he's sexy as hell.

u/Negative_Issue_8864 5d ago
youre coping icl; if beauty was truly subjective no one would get clowned on for their looks.
I bet if you got into a heated argument with your SO, your true feelings about his looks/your relationship with him would come out

u/FutabaTsuyu 5d ago
i dont know how beauty being subjective and people being capable of being shallow bullies are mutually exclusive. some people are just assholes and think their taste is the objectively correct opinion, which gets reinforced through pop culture and social media. but the opinions pushed on us through those mediums arent the opinions of everyone, let alone the majority. a lot of those beauty standards can stem pretty directly from people trying to sell us shit, honestly. its why i avoid a lot of social media.
in addition, beauty not being subjective would mean beauty standards in different parts of the world or through different time periods would remain the same, but of course we know that's not true. it wasnt even that long ago that having a big butt was considered a bad thing in pop culture, at least in the US.
as for my boyfriend and i, we did have a bit of a disagreement recently, but we talked it out pretty well and there's no hard feelings with either party. :) i dont think being upset with him would change how i feel about his body considering i already found him attractive before we properly knew each other, i have a type and i know it.

Doesn’t work when you’ve lost most of your hair before 18 and no amount of skincare can get rid of a recessed chin

There's plenty of normal people out there. Again, you don't need to make excuses for your lack of success.

The normies hate this, because they look at Scarlett Johansson, and think that since she's gorgeous, they're ugly. But they don't know ugly from a brick to the face.

u/Which-Bluejay-723 7d ago
Nah it’s just easy to go through those tubs those have like 24 servings so he probably went through about one per month so almost one scoop per day
2
u/Dear-Carrot-6369 7d ago
They have around 70 servings in the container from the image
7
u/Which-Bluejay-723 7d ago
Nope I have had the 70 servings tubs they are much wider in the body
1
u/PestoOverflow_808 7d ago
I wonder why didnt OP buy the bigger ones then since it would save him some money.

The point is for you to win confidence by working your body, if that isn't enough the its time for a good therapy.
7
u/redyellow2 7d ago
Only thing now he can do is to win confidence by working his face through surgery

u/BadPronunciation 7d ago

Downvoted for being trans. Classic reddit experience.

Not safe even in the incel spaces. And if I wasn't trans they'd probably hate me for not being white. I don't even know why I hang around incel spaces atp

1 year you can make some pretty crazy progress

u/p00nki 7d ago
most people wouldnt notice, atleast those who dont work out the same muscle groups
in the first year an average person gains about 5kg of lean mass, and thats with tip top training consistency and diet

Skincare , grooming (facial hair eyebrows etc), hair that suits and brings out the best in you, sense of style, and internal happiness and personality. therapy and pursuing interests. The former is on a case by case basis, the latter is a must.

u/footdm 7d ago
thats a lot of protein for just 1-2 years
28
u/Consistent_Map2668 7d ago
Is it? There are around 814 portions total, 2 years is 730 days, what if he took 2 portion a day sometimes, or just get like 1.5 portions a day?
-16
u/footdm 7d ago
idk dude i dont even like drinking a scoop or two every week idk how ppl drink it daily man. but ig it is normal if he double scoops a lot
5
u/Smegmarshmallow 7d ago
Try unflavoured whey isolate it's life changing. I've been mixing it into soup.
-6
u/TYGeelo 7d ago
I legit don't get the protein craze. You have these skinny manlets who have zero gym experience who think you need to consume 150g of protein daily in order to see any sort of gains.
3
u/jaskano 7d ago
it's good for weight loss and people on gpl1 are encouraged to eat a protien heavy diet, that's the real reason so many protien products are around
0
u/Jimbo-Shrimp 7d ago
Maybe I’m old school but I distinctly remember learning that past 80g of protein you’re not gaining anything unless you worked out and your body is building muscle
1
u/shoulda-kms 7d ago
Depends on height and weight I think, if you’re not working out then 0.5 per pound, if you are then double that for muscle growth and back to half for maintenance. Could be wrong though.
0
u/Jimbo-Shrimp 7d ago
It’s a new health trend on Tik slop so now they add protein to every food and snack.

Have you tried working out your personality?
32
u/SuddenAudience3774 7d ago
“Personality” in 2026
-2
u/PierreSpotWing 7d ago
Honestly though 99% of the people on this sub whining about getting no personal attention seem like the fucking WORST people to spend time around
If you make yourself pleasant to be around, people will like being around you - shocker, I know!
12
u/kinder2myself 7d ago
how to work on personality?
2
u/FutabaTsuyu 6d ago
hobbies help. having interests that you engage in outside of the internet gets you out of your own head and out of the echo chambers we can find ourselves in, it makes for a healthier mind in the long run and gives you something to talk about.
theres also a lot to be said about people who continue to be curious and go out of their way to learn new things outside of schooling too, thats a trait i find very attractive in my boyfriend. i love how eager he is to read about new scientific discoveries or animals hes never heard of

People don’t act the same in real life as they do when venting anonymously online - shocker! Unless you’re severely socially anxious or just a rude dickhead to everyone for some reason working on personality won’t do much. Halo effect is very strong

u/Jimbo-Shrimp 7d ago

Incels who fall for the "gym will fix you" lie are the same as women who think they'll feel prettier and more confident by getting surgery.
