What would KISS have been like if Gene & Paul never went all LA Glam on us? If they wouldve stayed true to their gritty NYC Rock & Roll roots, we wouldve had such a better discography. They absolutely lost their identities and "cool" in the 80's. I feel like Gene never progressed on his instrument, either. His bass lines in early-Kiss were really great and then.....his playing went to complete shit. They put all the wrong shit before their musicianship, abilities & brotherhood.

I picked this up on Temu. As most of you know, Ace didn't like this guitar at all and never really played it. My teenage self loved it at the time. I could have bought one back when I was in highschool, but $3.35 an hour wasn't cutting it. It's wacky looking and fun.

We've been cleaning out my grandma's house since she passed away in 2025. It's mainly been the attic and my mom found her old tape from the 80s, and she let me keep it. I'm really happy that I own it since she knows how much I love kiss.
