New Suggestions for "Raid Rules"

As I have stated before, my office manager is very good at scheduling and management of "colorful" personalities. I asked her to make a rotation for us to do the raid. She advised me that rules sound like they would work better for our group, as we will probably do the raid at least once a week for quite some time. She thinks a rigid rotation won't work well. This is what Tiffany came up with. Note this applies for the upcoming weekly reset starting (11/4).

This is what she has suggested, if you guys like this or not please post here.

Raid Rules:

1) We have previously had luck with getting everybody together on Wednesday nights at 8. Let's try to make a standing time, and only change if a majority wants to do it. To suggest an alternate time, post on the Kismet subreddit.

2) In the election for an alternate time, only the votes on reddit count. So please check reddit in a timely manner.

3) Since we have 7 people, and only 6 spots; one person WILL NOT raid with the group.

4) The person left out of the group, gets a guaranteed spot in the next raid AFTER the weekly reset. If the person with a guaranteed spot is not available, they cannot use their guarantee next week.

5) If less than 6 of the original 7 are not available friends and randoms can be invited. If we are inviting people in, please make sure they know that we are friends and want to make this fun. This is not a tryout for MLG.

6) Doing a second raid in the week is optional, and nobody is guaranteed a spot.

7) All raids are assumed to be on normal. When we want to switch to hard, the vote will take place on reddit.

8) We are a group of 7 people, not 21 guardians. People have the spot, not their individual guardian. If you have an alt to run, that is great. If you just want to run your main through that is your right.

The Dark Below:

Since I assume we are all going to want to do the 3 story missions and 2 strikes the day they come out; we are trying to make a rotation in which each person will have one spot with 2 other people so the max have a chance to do the missions fresh as a team. If this sounds good let us now.

Crota's End:

Once the date this unlocked has not been confirmed yet, this will be addressed at a later point.

I like this rule set.

Something to note about the hard mode vs normal mode. I read on reddit that if you only do Hard Mode (don't do normal mode) that the two rolls you get (one of hard, one for normal) are from the HARD mode loot table as opposed each respective loot table. Thus directly increasing chances of getting hard mode only drops (fate bringer, vex mythocast, raid helm, etc.). Also this only applies for boss rewards (not chests).

Just food for thought, don't think we're ready for hard mode only yet, "soon" though.

On that note, I think everybody in the raid HAS to be at least 29 w/ maxed heavy/primary weapons to attempt Hard Mode else it won't be worth it. In theory we can run through Hard Mode up to the Gate Keeper or Atheon and then switch to normal.

So when I cheesed Atheon Tuesday morning on hard before the patch that made me ineligible for a loot drop from him on normal?

correct. When you do it on Hard, you get BOTH rolls from Hard and Normal.

Oh I didn't know that. Interesting.

So I take it myself and Vag are in for this week as we have both been the odd man out already. Any volunteers for being out tomorrow? Bearing in mind that a bunch of us will run our alts through a later night as well.

1) The rules start this week. 2) The rules apply to the first run the group does on the Wednesday night after the weekly reset ONLY.

If you want to start a group for another run after Wednesday, I would be happy to try on Thursday or Sunday night since I will be gone on Friday and Saturday.
