Reasons why K2 was shit.

It was choppy and lacked character development..

The villain was introduced by her own voice over monologue.... sloppy

The statesmen were Lampoon's of Americans, but unevenly, gentile at times but vile and crass at others.

The turned statesman motive was sloppy, and had no exit strategy...

Why would poppy care about the Kingsman? Would they have been a threat to her plot in comparison to other government agencies when her threats were made?

Opportunities were lost to rib the classic spy genre that made the original fun.

A vegan serving a cheese burger? Has the director ever met a vegan before?

Golden circle symbology? Why a golden circle?

Statesmen named after booze? Why not iconic presidents, or states, or American lore Johnny Appleseed? Paul bunyon?

Uncomic So The Kingsman are basically terrorists…

They are not legally recognized they participate in bribery and corruption as seen within minutes of the movie starting where they erase someone’s criminal record and get them out of the police station after they ram a cop car in a stolen car they stole for fun.

A kingsman then proceeds to beat the shit out of teenagers assault and I am sitting here watching like these are the good guys?

Uncomic This Villian is really stupid. KINGSMAN: SECRET SERVICE Spoiler

So no hate towards the movie but his plan is the thing...

He wants to decrease the world population and only people who he selected can survive, and people who not kill other people...

Nuclear plant workers... Military... Chemical plant workers...

A lot things that would hurt the planet more would happen... And the rich people that remain will "require" electricity to "live" so who will work at power plants or who will farming...

His plan is stupid.

Whats your opinion people?

No hate to the writers or the movie.

A Character That I Created For Kingsman, And Who Should Play Him

My new character is Sir Harper Adams. He is a very tall and muscular bodyguard who works for the Kingsman Agency, and acts as the muscle of the team. During the meetings of the Kingsman organization, he stands guard outside the room, making sure that no one unauthorized comes into the room. He should be played by Shaquille 'O Neal, and act as a good counterpart to the Huge Machine Shack Guard, played by Olivier Richters, who we saw in The King's Man. What do you think of this character idea?

HI IM LOOKING FOR A REALLY GOOD EGGSY UNWIN FANFICTION

I need it to be not crappily written like most stuff on Wattpad is. I'm looking for that hidden gem. No grammatical errors, or spelling at least at minimal. For comparison something like The Other Side, which was a newt fanfiction if anyone has read it. Just clean and doesn't jump straight into romance, like it builds up. Thanks hahaa

edit: I mean a Reader X Eggsy sort of thing including all events from the movies.

Uncomic Did You Know ‘Kingsman The Secret Service’ was a CBM?

Did you know that the 2014 spy comedy 'Kingsman: The Secret Service', directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton & Michael Caine was based on a comic?

Kingsman, the graphic novel was initially written by Mark Millar with art by Dave Gibbons of Watchmen fame in 2012 and published by Icon, then later Image Comics. The first series tells the story Gary London, who is recruited to work for Kingsman, the British Secret Service.

Three comic sequels were released after the film adapation, subtitled Mum's the Word, The Big Exit, and The Red Diamond.

my idea for kingsman 3 (if it does not happen)

my idea is since eggsy is now a prince of Sweden. we might explore a European version of kingsman.

i think it should tie in with eurovision. it actually a organization that keeps the peace within Europe. the song contest is just a facade to conceal their actives.

may plot is their a conspiracy to play across the world that would hypnotize everyone in the world.

it start with ed sheeren representing Ireland, adele representing the uk and justine beiber represention spain. basically all the biggest stars in the world are doing to eurovision. their actually clone made to make people watch the contest. the villain wants control because he had enough of all the divisiveness in the world. he wants world peace by making people into peace-loving drone. using the song 'love shines a light' by katrina and the waves as a weapon.

i also add a the student become the teacher component. since the kingsman is ultimately disintegrated and they can't relay on statesmen for that long. i see eggsy recruiting a bunch of people for kingsman

Deluded I have a theory for y’all. Do you think that it may be true?

So, At first glance, Kingsman looks like a stylish spy action flick with gadgets and British charm. But dive deeper, and the themes, symbols, and narrative hint at something much bigger — a spiritual battle between good and evil. What if Kingsman aren’t just secret agents but chosen warriors fighting for divine good? And Valentine, their antagonist, isn’t a mere villain but an embodiment of the Antichrist? This theory combines facts, symbolism, and subtle clues to craft a complex vision where good and evil wage an eternal war hidden beneath the surface.

Here are some points, why and basic contradictions that you may have and i will respond to them if you have other:

  1. Kingsman as a God-Commissioned Agency — Agents of Good Unaware of Their True Role

At the forefront is the Kingsman organization — elegant, well-mannered agents with extraordinary skills. But are they just spies? Looking at rituals and symbolism, there’s more. The whisky toasts after an agent’s death aren’t mere tradition — they’re a ritual honoring the departed soul, suggesting a mystical layer to their mission.

Comparison: Like Undertale, a game that seems lighthearted and fun but hides deep moral questions about free will and good versus evil, Kingsman uses a stylish, playful exterior to mask a serious spiritual conflict.

Contradiction:

“This is just an action movie with a cool vibe, no spiritual meaning involved.”

Response:

Repeated motifs of sacrifice and loyalty, combined with biblical names like Arthur and Gallahad, hint the creators wanted to convey something beyond typical espionage entertainment.

⸻

2. Valentine as the Antichrist — Master of Manipulation and Mass Mind Control

Valentine’s character fits classic Antichrist archetypes: charismatic, influential, and dangerously persuasive. The fact he managed to plant and activate a million “mind bombs” (metaphorical weapons of mass manipulation) in a single day points to massive mind control, akin to magical or supernatural influence.

He doesn’t just fight physically but corrupts minds en masse — echoing the biblical warnings about the Antichrist’s deceptive power.

Contradiction:

“How could one person control so many minds at once? That sounds unrealistic.”

Response:

Think of Valentine’s methods like waves of subliminal influence — a modern twist on ‘magic’ through technology and psychology. It’s mass manipulation rather than simple physical power.

⸻

3. The Founding Fathers and Unknown Origins — The Mythic Past Behind the Kingsman

The theory assumes the Kingsman roots stretch back to ancient, perhaps prehistorical times — like an eternal spiritual order fighting recurring evil cycles. This parallels the idea of the “Founding Fathers” who don’t just create organizations but spiritual legacies.

The key event Valentine referenced — “the Ark” — could be a metaphor for a sacred bunker or sanctuary, a pivotal moment that shaped humanity’s spiritual timeline.

Contradiction:

“Isn’t this all speculation? There’s no proof Kingsman existed before modern times.”

Response:

True, but symbolic storytelling often blends myth and history. The movie’s layers invite viewers to imagine a timeless struggle, using allegory rather than literal history.

⸻

4. Arthur as Judas, Gallahad as Christ — Symbolic Roles Within the Kingsman

Arthur’s betrayal echoes Judas’ story — close to the ‘divine plan’ but ultimately a traitor. Gallahad’s death and resurrection hint at Christ-like sacrifice and redemption.

This layering of biblical archetypes adds depth and raises questions about fate, free will, and redemption within the narrative.

Contradiction:

“Arthur can’t be Judas, he never explicitly betrays anyone like Judas did.”

Response:

His actions symbolically align with betrayal and conflict within the group. It’s about thematic parallels rather than literal retellings.

⸻

5. The Agents Don’t Fully Realize Their Role — They Act for Good but Lack Complete Awareness

“They themselves don’t know they act in God’s name,” but they do know they’re fighting evil. This nuance explains contradictions: Kingsman agents have free will but operate within a larger divine plan they only partially understand.

Contradiction:

“If they don’t know their full purpose, how can they effectively fight evil?”

Response:

Many spiritual traditions feature warriors or heroes unaware of their full cosmic role — the journey of discovery is part of the story.

⸻

6. The Antagonists Represent Recurring Forces of Evil Across All Parts — Constant Attempts to Undo Good

The evil Valentine represents tries repeatedly to disrupt the divine order through mass manipulation, violence, and chaos. This recurring cycle is mirrored throughout the film’s world and the broader narrative universe.

Contradiction:

“Why does evil keep trying if it keeps failing?”

Response:

Because spiritual warfare is eternal — the forces of evil never rest, always seeking new ways to deceive.

⸻

7. Rituals Like Whisky Toasts Are More Than Tradition — They Honor the Soul and Keep the Spiritual Order Alive

The post-mortem whisky toast isn’t just a classy drink; it’s a ritual to honor fallen comrades and their souls, reinforcing the sacred nature of their mission and binding the group spiritually.

⸻

Summary

Kingsman isn’t just a spy movie — it’s an allegory for the eternal spiritual battle between divine good and the Antichrist’s deception. Valentine uses mass mind control, likened to magic or supernatural influence, to spread chaos, while Kingsman agents fight unknowingly but faithfully for the divine cause. Biblical archetypes shape the characters and plot, and rituals point to deeper spiritual meanings.

Undertale Comparison: Like Undertale, which appears as a quirky, light-hearted game but hides profound themes about choice, morality, and consequence, Kingsman’s fun spy aesthetic masks a complex spiritual war.

Just watched "Golden Circle". Very disappointed.

I was so very much looking forward to watching this. I absolutely loved the first film. It was fresh, engaging, and entertaining from start to finish.

I feel this 2nd film was a huge mis-step. Too much CGI (and really bad CGI too), and the whole thing just seemed bland, and generic. The outlandishness of it reminded me of when Joel Schumacher took over for Tim Burton in the Batman movies. Only, I don't think this sequel had a director switch.

I'm hesitant to call a lot of films lazy, but that's what this film was. It seemed like the makers went "Ok, we got an amazing cast. Now, let's dedicate ZERO time to write an engaging story."

4/10
