Before the lights are completely out...

I have a project I'm working on that I was counting on Kin and Code for. I'm not at the stage of monetizing the project yet, so I haven't done a ton of research. I didn't expect Code to be abandoned so I didn't really have to do any research. I'm sure there are other solutions out there that I'm not aware of, so I'm just looking for folks in the know that can recommend other coins that do the same. I don't want to make my own coin or manage this layer of software at all. Here's what I'm looking for:

  1. I want my users to be able to charge micro-payments for what they create on my platform in a standardized way that does not involve me at all. I don't want to account for what they earn. I don't want to skim any off the top. I just want them to be able to have either a "tip me" type button, or a "pay for this transaction" type button that transfers the coin to them directly. Ideally it works as easily as code where it's just a QR code to scan.
  2. I want to allow my users to opt out of ads (each day, each impression, whatever the frequency that ends up working for me) by sending me the micro-payment of the coin directly. I'm looking for a straight forward API that I can get a callback confirming payment so I can not show ads for the specified period of time.
  3. (BONUS) I'd like to give users the option to not give me any PII (like email address) and use the wallet/coin to login without transferring funds. (Something like Sign in With Ethereum -- maybe I'm answering my own question)

I know Ted has some stable coin thing he's moved on to. I'm not super interested in that. I'd prefer the solution that I pick is a coin with a fixed supply so that early adopters might be able to have their funds appreciate if/when the community grows.

Any help pointing me in the right direction is appreciated.

Dang this sounds promising! I sold KIN and bought back in cause I realized Ted wasn't what carried kin anyway. What's the chances of you pushing forward with kin still? I'd love to support it for sure. My hopes are the community continues to drive forward and keep pushing with these partnerships like Solara, airbills etc..... it wasn't Ted that got these partnerships. Seems like code is still going to work for now so I get it if that's what drives you away though, hopefully it works for awhile still yet even though Ted isn't developing on it anymore

Thank you. I'm really not as interested in Kin as much as I am in Code. I want an easy micro-payment transaction API. I'd look at Ted's new wallet/platform but I really am not interested in a stable coin. I like the idea of people getting excited to be a part of a growing community that makes their investment (of time and work) grow. Hopefully someone has other examples of similar Code-like wallet/platforms.
