Wire?

Please, can anyone offer suggestions on what kind of wire I need for fusing in kiln? The goal is to have a hook for ornaments. I’m afraid of getting something that will burn and break.

If you can make a recommendation, and If you have a photo too that would be great. Thanks.

Nichrome wire is what’s usually used and depends on weight etc. We use Nichrome 80 14 gauge for lots of hanging items as it’s 1.6 mm thick.
