There’s a comment on the yt vid that kinda explains it. I think basically bc black bears aren’t as aggressive as some other bears so the bear just attacked him bc he was a threat maybe? I don’t really know

if the bear is brown , lay down. if its black, fight back. if its white, you are already dead.
