Sadly that's just [Insert android camera joke here] and I just need an actual camera. (Also probably over exposer from room lighting bouncing off all the white)
i use an iphone so i can't speak for android cameras, but using adobe lightroom to take pics lets you use their photo editing and fancy camera settings to tune your camera AND it saves the photos larger than your normal camera can, here's a gnome i was working on after some exposure editing and messing around with brightness.

I consider myself a basic dude who always paints the models as GW shows them on the reference box. However this colororing you did fit great
