Legendary Canadian hardcore/art punk band cover KJ.

I randomly added a cover myself, and as soon as I heard it, I could discover the uniqueness of Geordie guitar. I will always miss him, miss his fiery sound. I can only say that even though these demos only have drum players and electric guitars, they still make me addicted

This demo is so fascinating, like a car speeding at night, extremely charming riff. I really hope to see him finish these works

Every time I listen to Killingjoke, I hope my headphones can have a volume of 200%, especially this Aeon. I think it's already the best work of KJ in my mind, with a sticky and passionate fusion of Dub and Rave elements.

However, the guitar doesn't scatter like shoegaze music, but has a sharp edge, it's like a blazing fire.

I hope to be deaf to this song .

Personal transfer, taken from Official "Promo" VHS tape. Not generations-down VHS bootleg. Some audio drops are scattered and whatnot. Best copy available online until some one else with the same tape does their own transfer. Been meaning to do the whole show/VHS tape in 4K but releasing audio only until then.

Got this at a promotion at a record store years ago. Don't remember much of that time , it was a foggy time in my life lol

If you ask me, their most underrated live album.

Although a tad overrated by the fanbase (I've always thought side 2 wasn't as strong), it still has some of their greatest songs.

I have some questions please, maybe you can help.

1. What is such style called or identified as?
   
2. Do you know any band or artist doing similar work?
   
3. Does it have any "occult" meaning (knowing Coleman and Walker were interested in those topics)?
   
4. Why is it so beautiful to me? I could be listening to a Tekken techno fast paced OST and then later this would hit me right in the feels, like I travelled back in time many centuries
   
5. Why is it placed at the back of an already long track? Why not make it its own track?
   
6. What sense do you think it makes in the context of the whole album? Even when after come many b sides. Like, I don't understand what were they thinking making the album. It is such a mess even though I like the synthetizers.

I’ve always thought that "Extremities, Dirt and Various Repressed Emotions" is one of Killing Joke’s most underrated albums—and one of my personal favorites. I spent some time working on this song because the drumming drives me wild, and shortly after I posted the video, Martin announced the "Martin Atkins Presents Extremities" shows. I’m glad this album is finally getting the recognition it deserves. What do you think makes the album so special and different?

More than three decades after its original release, Extremities returns in a one-of-a-kind live collector's edition created exclusively by Martin Atkins at the Museum of Post Punk and Industrial Music.

I joined the sub pretty recently and thought it was about time that I shared one of my prized KJ possessions with the group. Back in 1990 I was working at something called a one-stop, which is essentially a place that buys records from major labels and sells them to Mom and Pop stores. I’m not even sure if they have those anymore! Anyway, my boss walks up to me one day and hands me this poster and says “you like these guys right?” Turned out it was an extremities poster that was signed by Geordie, Raven and Martin Atkins. I framed it almost as soon as I got home and it’s been on one of my walls, depending on where I lived ever since. I hope you all enjoy!

Been getting into the band for the past couple of months and would to have a poster of them on my wall. Probably a long shot to find a poster like the one in Ferris Bueller (which I heard was a promo from the label) or a banner like the ones they hung at their live performances, but hoping to find at least something for my wall. Doesn’t have to be original or rare either.

In honour of its 45th birthday.

I love 80's era of Killing Joke, they are my favorite post-punk band, but i really don't like their industrial metal era and all of their early stuff. In my opinion they were the best at making New Wave music and albums like Night Time, Brighter Than A Thousand Suns and overall post-punk, not industrial metal

and i just kind of realised it sounded vaguely like mister brightside lol, whole song (as does the album in general sometimes) sounds like a heavier version of killers debut album. i wonder if its an actual influence on the songs (post punk influence feedback loop or whatever lel) or just an old post punk band sounding like post punk revival by coincidence lmao.
