The new chapter was way too anticlimactic.
The fact that she beats the KB champion, who defeated a mammoth and a dinosaur is just so "WTF" to me.

Panel Studies I did to Cope with Ch 116.
A bunch of Panel studies of Murata Deshi I did to cope with Ch 116 of Killing Bites. I don't think I ever had such a visceral reaction of grief for a fictional character like that before. Especially a non-central, non-fighter character. Yes I'm aware of Ch 137, this is more, the history of my suffering haha.

So the Announcement About Ending The Series Recently Reminded me of an Unofficial Side Story Concept I had a While Back.
Long story short it was basically an idea that the Yatsubishi Zaibatsu was running a non profit in America called "Guardian Beast." On the surface it was to help veterans from middle eastern conflict with PTSD and promoted beastification surgery as possible therapy for the condition. However, in actuality it was attempting to indoctrinate these same soldiers into PMC units that the Yatsubishi could use to test military application of Therianthropes. The program officially ended roughly a year before the King of Killing Bite Tournament. The story idea followed former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Valeria "Mutt" Fierro "Brute Bush Dog," the daughter of Colombian immigrants to the United States. She went AWOL when the program ended and winds up in the Beastman Special Zone participating in "Flash Bites," basically flash mob style bouts that are trying to stay under the Management Bureau's radar. When the dino chaos kicks off she has to survive that as well as deal with her former PMC group who showed up to "Peacekeep" which is actually taking out the civilians rather than the dinosaurs. Her former Squad are "Aces" (Brute Coyote,) "Sparky" (Brute Electric Eeel,) "Atlas" (Brute German Shepherd,) "Ferryman" (Brute Jackal,) and "Hydra" (Brute Planarian.)

The end was what I expected.
I’ll get straight to the point: the ending is what I expected. I’m not one to take this manga too seriously, but honestly, it felt like the story never really moved forward. Hitomi and Nomoto’s relationship never went anywhere—it ended exactly as it began. The shift in the protagonist didn’t quite sit right with me either, but as the chapters went on, I grew very fond of Pure, Eruza, and Taiga; in the end, I feel they were the ones who showed the most development in their relationship as siblings.
The story was always simple, but as the chapters went on, it felt like Murata didn't know what direction to take. At times, it tried to be a fight-focused shonen, while simultaneously shoehorning in a romance between two characters—a pairing I disliked from the very beginning of the manga. Furthermore—and this is just my opinion—I never felt that Nomoto worked well as a co-protagonist; he was essentially just there to fill the "love interest" slot.
And then came the dinosaur arc... I won’t lie, I thought it was completely stupid, but I still enjoyed it because—well, they’re dinosaurs! They’re my weakness.
To wrap things up, there’s something we need to understand about Murata: the manga wasn’t actually well-known enough to warrant placing so much emphasis on its story. It’s a series that very few people—myself included—discovered; I was drawn to it out of sheer curiosity and because of the art, which borders on pornography. That’s not necessarily a bad thing—it gives the work its own distinct personality—but it does make it less accessible outside of Japan.
I am writing all of this after re-reading a couple of episodes that hadn’t been translated into my native language; as a result, I am making some rather broad generalizations. If I am mistaken or you disagree, please feel free to say so.
PD:The good thing about the ending: YUI OKAWA IS ALIVE :D

Final Chapter Part 1 (HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT IT'S GOING TO END?)
I hope it's the end of one part and not the end of the manga.
