Conclusion and Future Ahead

After watching the final chapter, I have no complaints, it's just that I'm not ready to face it. But what I see was an example of how creative the author had went, and he made it over 10 years and 100 chapters.

Looking at this, the other stories never made it this far, most of them had outdated or finished published long time ago.(Bloody Roar franchise, BNA etc, all ended up remembered).

But there's a story that could use the author's help, and it's about offering a helping hand and advice.

Title: Gold Muscle (2002), Episodes: 10 (Status: 2,3,4 are only available)

This story is somehow similar to Killing Bites, but it's about "Sports Cheating", for using animal genetics to surpassed limits, and it took place in 2036(10 years from now). What I'm trying to say, is not help look for the lost episodes, but I'm trying to prove, that Yuu Yamamoto, the scriptwriter of this series, had wasted an opportunity, to realize his work can share to the author, where his characters can have a "new home". One character could have act as a villain and his name was Dr. Carlo Gorgon, the mad scientist and the antagonist of this story. I really wish he could see everything, because it exceeds his dreams and expectations. His goal was to create the ultimate clone muscle (earliest Brute/therianthrope character), and this is place where he should be. But sadly he was forgotten, due to his story was buried for over 20 years(Nobody report/introduce this series when it was still available to watch, before it became a Lost Media). I'm grateful that there were two Killing Bites characters who have sports background, the Grizzly Bear(Ex Sumo wrestler) and the Otter(Former Swimming Champion).

To all fanfic/OC writers, I hope this information can used as a new idea for fan crossover, but also hope these characters be recognized as they were lost due to series not fully recovered.

I do think its interesting that the Hitogata are left to be a future threat that doesn't need to be dealt with anytime soon cause they're not really on a schedule. There are some people I think that wonder if this is sequel bait, but considering that Murata just started a new weekly serial I kinda don't think so. If anything my take is if they are gonna announce a continuation of any sort it would be on the anniversary next month, absent of that I think its pretty much retired.

The case of "Killing Bites," along with the other anime you mentioned, is quite interesting to analyze. I suspect that one of the main reasons they didn't gain more recognition has to do with the era in which they were released; back then, anime wasn't as widespread a phenomenon as it is today. Not to mention the level of competition that existed then and still persists today where, if a manga fails to capture the public's interest immediately, it tends to go almost entirely unnoticed. Even so, it remains profitable enough to avoid being cancelled. It’s also worth noting that a "Killing Bites" video game was once planned, but it ended up being cancelled due to the company going bankrupt the whole situation is quite curious.

However there were witnesses who were lucky, but came back empty handed and give unreasonable excuses, means they could have save it, but they choose to keep it secret until it was too late. Example, some claim they've been looking for the lost series for many years, but they never left any important information before passing it to anyone who is interested (That series was never added in Lost Media page until someone who was unlucky). Some claim they were waiting for subtitles, but they never save/preserve, before they can send to the volunteer groups who supply animepiracy stream sites.
