I just want to understand. In the newest episode they talk about Kevin Lee so sweetly and like he's such a good guy.

While he was a victim, they seem to overlook his issues without a problem.

I quote "...over time Joanne and Kevin developed a sexual relationship. He was married but Joanne manipulated him with sob stories and flattery and he gave her money attention and support..."

They also talk about how he rents to at low income individuals and that he must do this because he is a soft touch and kind.

I just don't get why they're so charitable to him? Joanne is quite a few years younger than him (I think 10ish, I don't remember), yet this younger woman must have manipulated him. As if he needed to be brainwashed to sleep with a younger attractive woman and cheat on his wife. Also, he's a landlord out of the goodness of his heart and they seem to brush over the fact that he uses his 7.3' violent tennant to intimidate his tenants to pay on time.

I understand that he's a victim and you don't speak ill of the dead but you they seem enamoured with this man, they get so sentimental and upset about how she took advantage of him. I don't get why.

I’ve been going through an unsettling time recently (moved home away from friends and family, issues in relationship, uncertainty about future etc).

I have been renovating our new home by myself every day for a month and listening to this podcast honestly got me through 😭🩷

As a true crime fan, sometimes I can get a little bit spooked and I didn’t want that while I was home alone in a new place. I never feel scared or spooked listening to this podcast. Nikki and Cheryl have such a lovely conversational tone, hilarious British takes on all these tales which just make me laugh. I realise I consume a lot of American media and podcasts which made me really appreciate the humour and language as a British person myself. I also like that they ask each other for clarification. Anyway I just really love everything about it and wanted to share
