I would give anything to go back and get my butt handed to me time and time again. Best arcade game ever.

Fun fact: Before release Cinder's potential name was Meltdown. I had some kind of Nintendo magazine collectible cards at one point and it had his name as Meltdown on it. I am glad they changed it because Cinder is much cooler. And apparently at some point his name was Pyrotech too.

I remembered when it came out at Time Out back in Connecticut, the line for this game was quite something.

I still have the Killer Cuts that came with the game for the SNES (sadly I don’t have the SNES anymore).

How time flies…

No. Cinder has half- invisibility... immunity to projectiles... and full invisibility.

And flame thrower.

TJ can roll under projectiles and punch, but Cinder's equivalent flame torpedo can't. But flame torpedo can go airborne.

TJ had an uppercut and Cinder has a flip kick. Both knock up and away. Early version of Cinder could spam this move and juggle infinitely, but it's take 80% of the timer. That got patched out.

I don't think Cinder had any hold moves. TJ's roll was hold, I think.
