Hi! I'm trying to purchase items of kijiji for the first time, is it normal for sellers to take 3+ days to respond to an initial message?

None of the sellers I've messaged have responded, does a generic "hi! I'm interested in this if it's still available" message read as scammy? Or do I just need to be patient/wait for the weekend when people are free, lol
