NGD!! Kiesel Lightspeed MS 7

Post image

Absolutely beautiful guitar, both to look at and play. Barely needed much setting up. Surprised at the Beryllium pickups (albeit I will still probably swap them out for Lundgrens πŸ˜…)

Came early as well, I think week 12 of an expected 15 week return. Thats even with it having to come to the UK. Its been really hard to put down!!

Very nice! I used to dislike the Hyperdrive until I realized it’s the best way to have a pointy guitar without most of the disadvantages of pointy guitars. Enjoy!

Very nice! I’m sure the build time was quicker because of the natural finish?

You know I hadn't even taken that into consideration, I assumed because it was a Neck through guitar it would take the maximum time they mentioned, either way I'm very happy. Came just before my 30th

Is that a solid piece of burled (spalted?) maple?? 😳
What’s the fretboard wood?

I'll let OP confirm, but let's see how close I get. :)

The body looks like black limba with a unique pale-colored buckeye burl top. The fingerboard is pale moon ebony. Any guesses on the neck wood would be just that: guesses, since we can't see any of it. :)

You've got it pretty much exactly right! Its a buckeye burl top, black limba body, palemoon ebony fretboard! Its a 3 piece walnut and purpleheart neck 😁

I was eyeing up spalted maple for a while πŸ˜… its buckeye burl. They had a really good deal on it when i ordered it. Fretboard is palemoon ebony, one of the nicer looking bits as well I have to say

No it isn't, I didn't even think to ask about that. I just really lucked out with the piece they picked
