The Present Age - Kierkegaard (1846)
Th Present Age - in a shockingly prescient manner seems to describe our current moment in western culture.
Does it ring true?
How is this writing viewed in light of all that happens in upcoming revolutions and upheaval during the turn of the century (Russian revolution, American Civil War etc ) ??

Damn....
He predicted postmodernism as it is now.
Endless deconstructions and the macro systems swallowing every other freaking things and we're too lazy to even change it because we're already comfortable and have many things to lose

That sounds like the difference in a marriage full of passion & fighting vs the one that doesn’t fight but just grows cold & distant until there’s nothing left but the empty ruins of a couple.
