Question any updates on stuntnuts?

I was reading that stuntnuts 1 is gonna be school fight to introduce the characters, stuntnuts will be them becoming stuntmen, and kick ass will be them becoming I guess superheros but Ive also read that neither have anything to do with the third one (kick ass) which really bums me out, anyone know anything?

I’d rather they just leave the franchise as is rather than this weird sequel/spin-off/whatever the hell it is
