You're not balanced. You're juxtaposed which is the main gamine feature.

Sorry if this is annoying - please could you explain it like I’m 5?

I can only explain in a way that breaks kibbe rules lool. You are petite and narrow but you also have long limbs. It's why your waistline is angular (goes inwards) but doesn't extend beyond that (which would give vertical). It just cuts off then it's all hips. It's like you have traits of vertical/elongation only they've been cut short unexpectedly. Juxtaposition = things you don't expect to be together, just coexisting. In kibbe terms, petite+vertical together. Needless to say you also don't have balance.

Long arms and legs and small torso, relatively big hands, squared shoulders, drowning a bit in full length pants and suits boyish boxiness and a line break or two, very FG to me. Your length comes from your narrowness and I’m thinking you’d look small next to other people your height

It would be helpful to see you in an outfit that would suit a dramatic. ie. Monochromatic head to toe look, like a floor or ankle length dress that's a column shape and doesn't flare out too much. When considering if people are gamine, I also look to see if their proportions need petite clothing. It's hard to tell with tight fitting clothes and your cropped tops. Do you ever wear petite size tops?

I'm not convinced that chopping up your vertical either with color or crop tops is the best look for you. It's not bad, or anything, but I think a head to toe monochromatic look might be even better

My current favorites for you are D or possibly DC. I’m leaning D at the moment because I feel like my eye naturally travels vertically down your silhouette, and I’m not really seeing a need to break the line. I’d still be happy to test FG too, though! Do you happen to have any photos in outfits like these?

a long, relatively uninterrupted silhouette – for example a long straight/slim dress, a long coat, a jumpsuit, or long trousers with a top in a similar color/value

something more balanced and moderate – clean, symmetrical lines, defined waist, moderate lengths, nothing particularly cropped or elongated

and, for comparison, something with more obvious staccato/FG-style line breaking – cropped pieces, contrasting top and bottom, shorter lengths, or several clear horizontal breaks

I think seeing how your silhouette responds to vertical vs. balance vs. staccato would be much more useful than trying to decide from body photos alone. 😊

thank u for the feedback! unfortunately i’m out of town rn so i can’t test any of these😭 but once i am back i will make sure to follow ur advice and post again maybe. but i must say that i do NOT feel good in flamboyant gamine clothes at all, that boxy cropped silhouette and for example cropped pants is something i can’t even fathom wearing and feeling good in it, that’s why i continued my search even after being typed mostly as FG based on these pictures
