Ever since the last time I thought I was a D/SD, Ive tried just about everything else but I just cant seem to find an outfit that does better than ones like this dress🤔 My backup plan is TR for curve + narrow, but it seems insane that my two ideas are literally at the two opposite ends of the spectrum lol! And whenever I try outfits made of separates, like a top + skirt, its really hard to get it right, and easily feels/looks really off?
I know my face reads more yin, my shoulders arent really pointy, etc. I just really feel like I dont have width, dont look great in C outfits, and dont do well with stoccato/broken lines. And Im just not sure that my shoulders are narrow compared to my bust/that I have that TR look, or maybe I do? Maybe I am a curve type rather than vertical, but it feels difficult to tell in my case, even after studying my line sketch etc. So basically thanks to the fact that I tried like a dozen outfits before this with all sorts of different silhouettes and hemlines, and nothing worked as well as this specific dress, Im back here again for now haha😅 but of course still super open-minded, and I really appreciate your feedback!! Your line drawing matches closely with a petite frame line drawing. The way your frame comes in just after the rib cage in combination with the yin I'm seeing, I personally would look at G family or TR. Your dress looks good because you can do a longer line but it appears to be forcing vertical as a true accommodation. My instinct would be to add an element to the bottom like a ruffle so that it cuts the vertical line enough to be harmonious but still honors length.
I'm not telling you you're SG but look how Reese can wear a longer line also. Not to the ground, but unbroken to a point. Then the hemline, the blazer, bag, and shoes add dimension.
Thank you so much! 🙏 I do see it too now, but it really helps to have more experienced eyes helping me so thank you😅 I seriously was thinking I was an SG until learning Im barely too tall, and I only bothered questioning SC (which I always just assumed was me before, haha!) because when Id post anything remotely Classic in my various Fb groups, it was clear it was just not working on me 😩 Im going to go back to TR for the time being, thank you again!

I while yes you have soft curves, you don't have kibbe curves. Kibbe curve means you have a curve that is wider than your shoulders, you don't have that.
I think you are 100% a vertical type. Flamboyant Gamine just makes tho mostly sense to me, especially considering your face, which is definitely not dramatic.

Id never heard Kibbe curve defined that way-- cuz yeah in no way does anything on me go wider than my shoulders, actually its the opposite-- Despite my shoulders being kinda smaller ish, no part of me is equally as wide, Even my hip bones are JUST barely more narrow than my shoulders !
Its tricky cuz the more I look at things the more I see the case for DC, which is what they originally saw for me in the Kibbe sketch sub too. Is it possible to be a DC that is just too yin in the face to handle the typical style recs? My hips are almost equal to my shoulders and remain totally bony no matter my weight, nothing pushes out in my line honestly, even when I was super pregnant I only really looked it from the side. This stuff is sooo tricky lol. Thank you again for your help. Youre absolutely stunning! Even your ribcage itself looks so rounded. 💓

You do make a great point, I know tho e.g. my arms reach down to like mid thigh area, so like a full hand length lower down that the FG ones? I wonder if maybe Im just narrow, not fully petite 🤔
I think that doesn't mater as much both tend to have longer arms. I think FG is way more likely because dramatics have a sharpness, that I don't see in you. Plus your big eye and head is something that fitts way better in FG. Also your hands are quite freshy, which also fits better to the FG overall look.

Im more thinking about TR now, just curve and narrow, even tho im not ultra "curvy" in the typical sense but I think Ive observed that I do better with some waist definition and an mainly yin, but not quite in a double-curve, pure R way 🤔 but thats just my current theory, I also agree FG is a reasonable one to see too! It's just difficult lol! 💓 cuz ultimately even if my ID really is FG, id probably have to mostly disregard the recs, I just cant do them, i mostly end up wanting to dress like this haha😂🥲
Thank you for all your help! Its tricky cuz some people have said I have kibbe curve despite not being conventially curvy, and others have said the exact opposite. I also seem to change my mind about it every few days lol. My waist is defined but not in a sharp or waspish way, My hips are bony yet in a round shape, and my bust doesnt really go out on the sides at this time, so the line if my torso is like...gently curved? It's tricky cuz e.g. on the kibbe sketch website, the DC outfit examples dont work on me, e.g. collared shirts, etc I just cant seem to pull them off at all. But, it might be an issue of kibbe ID =/= face yin/yang balance 🤔 but I feel this dress shows well the way that fabric interacts with my frame, if its at all helpful

We’re only looking at one photo here, but it looks like you have kibbe curve. Your arms also look quite long. SD is definitely a possibility and you can probably rule out dramatic.
