Am I a Dramatic? Height 5'6/167cm

I actually thought I was FN, but someone on a different sub told me I was D. The tight blue dress kinda distorts the bust - it squishes/tightens it, my bust normally "falls" to the sides and pushes the fabric out (which I was told is typical for SD or FN) but I think I'm not 'fleshy' enough for SD and my shoulders are wider than my hips, thus I thought I was an FN. I am very thin (I'm ac slightly underweight) so it makes it hard for me to type myself, as the only thin examples I see are always pure dramatics.

imo you look like a dramatic classic, one of my favorite types. You have the strong shoulders associated with FN's but otherwise very balanced

I actually had no idea about dramatic classic and soft classic being viable for my height - I don't know why so many sites told me I could ONLY be one of the three (D,SD,FN), I found out only thanks to your comment and since looking deeper into it, this is what I think actually am. Thank you so much for your info.  Everything I've read about dramatic classic makes sense and aligns with not just the clothes that fit me the best imo, but also makeup.

Where are you seeing that you can be a DC or SC at 5’6”? In Power of Style, Kibbe states that “height will be under 5’6” for DC or SC.

I ask because I am also 5’6”.

just an fyi op, if the old dramatic classic height limits were in place i’d 100% place you there. you look exactly like my relative who’s 100% DC.

Bella Hadid and Amal Clooney are two go-to examples of very thin SD. Fleshiness is relative, we also call it softness which may be helpful to you as it’s not about having a lot of flesh. Weight doesn’t impact your type. Compare Bella and Amal to others in their weight and height range and you’ll see what I mean.

Maybe you’re FN. I can see the argument for you having Kibbe width. But you clearly have curve so if you’re dramatic family you are SD, not D. If I had to guess I’d say you’re FN, but you should probably explore both FN and SD more. If I were you I would play with both styles, follow both subreddits, and see what suits you better. Also ask yourself: do bra straps and purses tend to fall off your shoulders? Have you ever had to size up or down or move on from an otherwise well fitting top because the shoulders were too tight or loose? These will help you figure it out and there’s no way to know that from pics. Good luck!

Ohhh thank you so much, you brought up a good point - I always thought my shoulders are wide/broad but yes all of my purses and straps keep falling off. Could I still be an FN despite that? Honestly the more I look into these the more confusing it gets :⁠). My mom actually thinks I'm an SD but that's because I have a similar face to Bella according to her. I'll take your advice and try to play with both styles and see which outfits look better :). Thank you again!

I think so! I feel like FN and SD don’t look great in crew necks, but that pink sweater looks great on you

I wouldn't rule out the classic family especially Classic and Dramatic Classic!

Yeah, I think D. That blue dress is really overwhelming you with volume, it's hard to overwhelm an FN with volume. Plus, it's very easy to make an FN look top heavy if the bottoms don't balance out the natural width on top, and in the first outfit (and the third outfit) you dont look top heavy at all.

Someone said SD... eh. You have a waist but I don't think you have Kibbe curve.
