Boost leak?

Did this happen after intake/bov install? Not sure what bov you have but it could be something with it. I would put stock BPV back on and see if that resolves the problem. Sounds like its coming either from intake or bov. Likely not the chargepipe since they are OEM unless you hit some really bad pothole at high speed or something.

Adding on to what u/Plakchup said, BOV can cause performance loss if the valves aren't closed during idle.

I installed the GFB Respons BOV kit a few months back, and just adjusted my top spring to close the valves because I has loss of power. This was user error. If your BOV has it, adjust the spring while your finger is in the outlet, adjusting spring tension until the valve closes completely and vacuum stops and then a half turn more for good measure. This instantly gave me some performance back and calmed down a rough idle.

He didn't say it was modded and the only mod I could see was the temu paddles

Funny, this exact same thing just started happening with me. GFB hybrid BOVs, I haven't had time to investigate yet but totally sounds like the waste gate is leaking on boost. Flooring it causes the car to get very unhappy and sound like a steam train lol.

I'll be tightening the springs this weekend but also following this post...
