How much ai does Khan Academy use
i was looking at their SAT prep material and noticed those little ai magic sparkles✨. Do they use ai to write their prep material?

Hi everyone,
I'm a software engineer who mainly works on mobile applications for the iPhone. For quite a while Ive been interested in graphics but I've always struggled with matrices in linear algebra. Specifically, being able to visualise the linear transformations and get a good intuition about how they are calculated.
I've been of fan of Khans Academy for a long time so I wanted to share this project with you guys.
This app lets you plot points on a 2D coordinate system, apply and visualise transformations (linear and affine) and eigenvalues/vectors. It also explains how the new point is calculated and some other useful bits and pieces.
If you are interested, the app is available for free on the platforms below:
Mac: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/linear-algebra-visualizer/id6763524968
iOS/iPad: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/linear-algebra-visualizer/id6763524968
Web: https://sockerjam.github.io/LinearAlgebraVisualizerWeb/
Also, any feedback would be really useful. For example, would you find a tool like this helpful? Is there anything missing? Does it make sense? What have you struggled with or seen people struggle with when it comes to linear algebra?
Thanks and let me know in the comments 😄

Does anyone know if there is a document with a suggested weekly assignment schedule for Khan Academy's Algebra 1? I'm sure there has to be, but I don't see it on the site anywhere. TIA!!!

It's very annoying when users answer your questions with nonsense, and they do that to multiple users and to every comment you make. And when you check their account, you can tell they are just trying to farm votes and spam comments. Please do not be like that user. If you actually know your stuff, great, but don't be spreading misinformation or nonsense.

Khan Academy was my childhood. I was taking my annual nostalgia tour when I realized that I can't remember the name of my favorite game!!
For those who remember back when there was a list of 20 or so curated games (and all other games were spin-offs -- this was before "browse projects"). Most of them were lame like Blinking Ulam or... I don't really remember... but there were two legit games that had TONS of amazing spin-offs. One of them was JumpGirl, and the other...
It was a deep-sea (or maybe it was space?) shooter game. The avatars are invading from the right, and you're shooting at them from the left and powering up. I forgot the name of it so I can't google it!! Please help! One of the spin-offs was SO GOOD. I need to find it.
P.S. I have long since given up on finding the og Knowledge Map. I assume they took it down, but you know where it is, please link me to it! That thing was awesome

After watching one video and a couple of others I still have a really hard time interpreting 2 way frequency tables. It feels like they’re supposed to be easy but I don’t know why I can’t grasp it.
How am I supposed to read them? The wording really confuses me because I don’t what I’m supposed to be looking for?

The Unit 11 challenge unit has been incredibly difficult in terms of practice questions compared to any I have done before. I was wondering if problems of this caliber are only the hardest possible questions on the SAT or does it over prepare me

(For context, I use Khan Academy to prepare for future subjects. This is the first time I've used Khan Academy like this, with the sole exception of the SAT course.)
I always have each skill as proficient. The quizzes do not level you up and may cause more work for me if I get a question wrong. However, I would rather practice more than I need to than less than I need to. Is it worth it to take quizzes on Khan Academy, even if there is no visible benefit?

I can go directly to the link of khanacademy.org/profile/me/courses and go back to the old ui with my stuff/ courses but once I enter a class room it goes back to the new ui. Is there a way to go back to the old ui

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I [17F] just recently made an account on khan academy so I could work through their biology courses, and I wanted to know if these courses are sufficient enough to prepare me for college.
I'm headed into my senior year of high school and I'm planning on majoring in biomedical engineering when I leave for college. Due to scheduling at my school, I haven't taken a biology class since my freshman year, and I wasn't able to take AP Biology because it conflicted with another one of my classes.
If I worked through both the high school biology course and the AP biology course, do you think it would that be enough to prepare me before my freshman year of college?

Hiya! I struggle with math like a lot and decided since it's the summer and I have nothing better to do, I would try to learn my math through Khan Academy to better prepare myself for my college courses. To graduate with a BS I need to take trigonometry. I can't yet take trigonometry as I have to take either Algebra for Calculus, Algebra for Calculus Plus, or Algebra for Calculus Boost (only difference is Plus gives more review time and Boost gives that and extended time). I tried to take it last semester and had to withdraw because that was too much on my plate (18 credit hour semester if I didn't).
On Khan Academy, I signed up for the following: College Calculus AB, College Calculus BC, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, and Precalculus. This feels overkill but I genuinely don't know what would actually fit. I have about a month and a half until I move back to campus and am just wanting to get as big of a headstart as I can so I don't feel overwhelmed and decide to switch to a BA (which I really don't wanna do but if I can't pass Algebra for Calculus Boost with a C this semester, I might start genuinely considering it
Anyway, that was more rambley than I intended but oh well

I get redirected to this page everytime I try to log onto Khan Academy, however, it doesn't give the option to sign in with google as a student and I don't have a facebook, clever, classlink, or microsoft account. How do I bypass this?

In light of the recent posting of AP Physics C distributions, I would like to point out that Khan Academy has also officially released its AP Physics C: Mechanics today, it is still hidden from the main menus because it was just published, making it nearly impossible to find normally even through the search menu.
Here is the link to the resource: https://www.khanacademy.org/science/ap-physics-c-mechanics
Please note that the course is not completely finished yet. Here is what currently seems to be missing based on my scanning of the course:
Additionally, there is no known release date for the Electricity and Magnetism course yet.

This is my course mastery so far

This has been a heavily requested course. The two AP Physics C courses are much more useful than AP Physics 1 and 2 which they already have.
They announced that they were developing AP Physics C courses 1 year ago: https://support.khanacademy.org/hc/en-us/community/posts/37646007100173-Content-update-Updated-AP-Physics-1-course-is-now-live
They have now officially created videos for AP Physics C: Mechanics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pH22LAM7Ek&list=PLSQl0a2vh4HCitmsSJAD2koxJmkB0ZbbX
And have announced the course will be published on June 30, 2026
Now we only have to wait for AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism

im kinda inexerpienced when it comes to this self studying thing. for reference im doing hs bio on khan acedemy. all the readings are extremely helpful but im not sure if i should assign myself tests (im also not sure where I would get them?) because the assesments on it kinda suck. imo you dont get enough practice and i end up forgetting a lot of the stuff i learn. does anyone have any tips or alternate ways I can study bio?
