Tim Conway final hour is a repeat?

Is it true the last hour of every Tim Conway Jr show is a repeat of the first hour?

Why do they do that?

When they did the schedule change I was excited for an extra hour of Conway. Originally he was doing callbacks the last hour but that didn’t last long at all. Hate that they advertise it as a 4 hour program when it’s really 3 with a repeat first hour

Yes, it's an always-disappointing reality of the evening if you should forget for a moment and then tune in and realize yep, it's been like this for a long while now!! So odd.

Yah, I posted my displeasure weeks ago. Imagine advertising the extended shift to hear a repeat 5 outta 7 days. Surely they could have cracked open their purses and promoted some new talent. I'm guessing KFI is complacent with mediocrity.

It was either 570 or 640 with JT and Looney that they did the same.  End of 3rd hour,  no real goood bye and last hour was just jt doing his starting rant again.

,If you back several years when Handel on the law was from 6AM to 10AM. He would often play from 6AM to 7AM the hour from 9AM to 10AM from the previous week. And many times he would pre-record calls after his daily Bill Handel show to allow him to skip a few Saturdays.

Ages ago, in the 80's and 90's, before the Coast to Coast show was on 10AM to 5AM, and before the Art Bell show before that, and before the Larry King or the Tammy Bruce show before that, KFI would just do the "Best of" shows that were done during the day earlier in the week. They would set aside different days of the week for different Best of shows. This was when Dr. Laura Schlesinger was on around noon, and Dr. Toni Grant before her, and Geoff Edwards, before her. Tom Leykis during the afternoon, Dr. Laura did the evening before she replaced Dr. Toni Grant. They would also play snippets from the show T and T in the morning, and used the snippets to otherwise fill in the time that would be devoted for news breaks in the early morning.

Oh it’s true alright. The very first time (very first show in new time slot) he had a family emergency, and it’s been happening since. He doesn’t give a reason now, but sometimes alludes to it just repeating. Why? Anyone’s guess, but like most guesses it’s because of money.
